Men and women at a food tent serving food at the Lowcountry Nosh

Now in its 10th year, the Nosh welcomes the entire Charleston community and encourages attendees to experience Jewish food, music and culture and to learn about KKBE’s rich history and unique contributions to Reform Judaism as they stroll down Hasell Street (on which traffic is reserved for pedestrians only).  The Nosh also features a kid’s zone, designed to provide enriching activities for younger participants.  In previous years, over 4,000 people have attended the festival, and the event is on track to be even bigger this year.

Food options, purchased with cash or credit card, will include New York kosher-style corned beef and pastrami sandwiches, homemade stuffed cabbage, knishes, hot dogs, bagels, lox and cream cheese, chopped liver, homemade and donated baked goods, challah, matzo ball soup and Dr. Brown’s sodas.  All proceeds benefit our historic synagogue.

The Lowcountry Nosh has become a signature, annual festival in Charleston and plays a major role in showcasing KKBE’s long and meaningful relationship with the greater community.  All are welcome at this free community event.

Nosh at home…..Nosh with others…..Nosh to your heart’s content
