Founded in 1749, KKBE is one of the oldest congregations in America, and is known as the birthplace of American Reform Judaism. Our sanctuary is the oldest in continuous use for Jewish worship in America, but Kahal Kadosh Beth Elohim (KKBE) is more than just a house of worship. We are a vibrant, inclusive and caring congregational family.

Upcoming Events

Join us on Friday, July 5 at 5:30PM for our First Friday Shabbat Evening service, followed by a very special cookout dinner welcoming Rabbi Joseph Rosen to KKBE.

The cookout will be potluck style. If your last name begins with A-N, please bring a side dish. If your last name beings with O-Z, please bring a dessert. KKBE will provide hotdogs, hamburgers, veggie burgers, and beverages. If you intend to bring a dish, please include what you are bringing in the “Notes” when you register.
