The Yaschik Library is a vital KKBE institution regularly used by students and congregants.
The Library serves as a laboratory for children, a resource for scholars, and a refuge for everyone in between. An area for parent and child activities can easily become an informal discovery alcove. Patrons can explore distinctive Jewish traditions and practices, such as holiday observances, cuisine, dietary laws, rituals, customs, music and literature.
The Library utilizes the Association of Jewish Libraries Weine Classification system to catalogue over 5,300 books. A special Patron computer provides immediate access to the collection. The Library also loans out DVD’s, VHS tapes, books on tape, CD's, and magazines. Display cases feature Israeli and Jewish artifacts.Donations of books are continually being received and processed, and ongoing contributions to the Morton Patla Library Fund enable us to expand our collection.
