Shabbat Worship Services

Come join the KKBE family as we worship together! Our regular Friday evening Shabbat service begins at 8 pm.  On the first Friday of each month we have our Congregational Dinner at 5:30 pm (reservations required) followed by our First Friday Shabbat Service at 7pm.  Our Saturday Shabbat Morning Service starts at 10 AM. On the second Saturday of each month we have Tot Shabbat for families with children up to 10 yrs old at 10 am in the Freudenberg Board Room.

For specific service times, please call the KKBE office at 843-723-1090.

Holidays & Festivals

Services are held for all occasions in the Jewish calendar year. The High Holy Day period begins with a S'lichot service during which our new members are honored as they assist in changing the Torah mantles. Yom Kippur ends with a congregational Break-The-Fast.  During Sukkot, we gather for a cook-out in our beautiful Sukkah. Newly enrolled Religious School students are consecrated on Simchat Torah.

We observe holidays and festivals in ways that bring us closer together as a congregational family. Creative and joyous Chanukah celebrations usually include a congregational dinner. Our annual Purim Shpiel is an adults-only event; and a lively communal Seder is held the second night of Passover.
